All great minds do not think alike. That’s a good thing.

At Summit Micro School, we don’t just embrace differences—we recognize that our world needs them. Whether your child is neurodivergent, neurotypical, or somewhere in between, they deserve an environment where their unique perspective is valued and their potential is nurtured. Our students are challenged academically, supported emotionally, and empowered to think creatively so that they can become compassionate leaders and innovative problem-solvers. When we celebrate all kinds of minds, we unlock endless possibilities.

Since 2011, Summit Micro School has been a special place where students are truly understood—unlocking their confidence, potential, and ability to thrive.

  • Neurodiverse Affirming Community

We celebrate every student's unique strengths, fostering a culture of understanding, acceptance, and belonging. Here, differences are not just accepted—they are valued as gifts to share with the world.

  • Project Based and Experiential Learning

Students engage in hands-on, thematic projects that spark curiosity, creativity, and real-world problem-solving. This dynamic approach builds collaboration, communication, and leadership skills for lifelong success.

  • Individualized Academic and Skills-Focused Curriculum

We meet students where they are, ensuring strong foundations in language, math, and essential skills. With a personalized approach, students gain confidence and mastery, setting them up for lifelong success.

  • Innovative and Creative Thinking

Neurodiverse students see the world in ways others may not—this is their gift. Instead of fitting them into a box, we celebrate their unique perspectives, nurturing the creativity and innovation our world needs.

We acknowledge that the land on which we gather is in Adobigok, meaning "Place of the Alders" in the Ojibwe language. It is uniquely situated along the Humber River watershed, which historically provided an integral connection for Indigenous Peoples between the shore of Lake Ontario and the Lake Simcoe–Georgian Bay region. This land is part of the traditional territory of the Wendat, Anishnaabeg, and Haudenosaunee Peoples. It also lies within the Dish With One Spoon territory, a treaty between the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, the Anishinaabek, and allied nations to peaceably share and care for the land, its waters, and the biodiversity of the Great Lakes region.

We recognize the enduring presence and deep traditional knowledge of Indigenous Peoples and commit ourselves to learning from this history, caring for this land, and building relationships rooted in respect, reciprocity, and truth.
