SUPPORT POOCH
Our Partners
Programs at Summit Micro School are supported by strong, established relationships with community and professional partners, ensuring that the support we provide is cohesive, intentional, and tailored to our students’ needs. While we are not a therapeutic environment, we collaborate with trusted professionals who offer therapeutic support, including Works of Wonder, Attuned Families, NEAC, and Humber College. Additionally, we work alongside other therapists, psychologists, and specialists that families are already engaged with, ensuring a seamless and supportive network of care.
Attuned Families supports our community by providing staff training in mental health and wellness, offering mental health supports for students, and leading parent and community education through workshops and resources. Additionally, we refer students and families to work with their team for specialized support when needed.
Works of Wonder provides on-site therapy services for students who require additional support, helping them integrate into the school environment and experience greater success in their learning and relationships.
Summit Micro School partners with Humber College’s Child and Youth Care program to mentor third-year students during their field placements, providing hands-on learning experiences in a school setting while supporting our students through their specialized training in child and youth care.
Students requiring Psycho-Educational Assessments are referred to the caring team at NEAC. Their insights help families and educators develop personalized strategies to support student success both in and out of the classroom.
