Kristin Palin grew up in Toronto and brings a rich academic background to her role as Vice Principal at Summit Micro School. She holds a B.A. with a double major in History and Women’s Studies from Concordia University, a Diploma in Gerontology, and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Food and Nutrition from Metropolitan University.

Kristin is passionate about creating a safe, inclusive, and neurodivergence-affirming learning community where every student is seen and respected for who they are. She loves connecting with students and staff, helping to develop their unique strengths, and enjoying the variety each day brings at Summit.

Outside of school, Kristin enjoys spending time up north, crafting with natural materials, making soap, and raising monarch butterflies in the summer. She also loves reading, spending time with her family, and walking her dog.

Kristin’s educational philosophy centers on belonging and fairness, ensuring every student has the chance to thrive. She encourages everyone to “let your weird light shine so all the other weirdos know where to find you.”
